Quordle – Play Four Wordles at Once

QuordleGame.org is a free Quordle you can play right in your browser. Four secret words sit on four boards, and every word you type goes to all of them at the same time. You get nine guesses to crack all four. Play the daily puzzle that is the same for everyone, or switch to Unlimited and start a new round whenever you like – in 22 languages and nine extra game modes.

How to play Quordle

1Four hidden words

The screen shows four boards, each hiding its own word. All four words have the same length – five letters by default, or four to six if you change it. Solve every board to win.

2Type any real word

Type a word that exists in the dictionary and has the right length, using the on-screen keys or your keyboard, then press Enter. The same guess is written on every board that is still open.

3Follow the colours

Each letter gets a colour on each board separately. Green – the letter is in the word and in this exact spot. Yellow – the letter is in the word, but somewhere else. Grey – this board's word does not contain the letter.

4Nine guesses in total

You have nine guesses for all four boards together. Every key on the keyboard is split into four parts, one per board, so you can see at a glance which letters are still useful where.

Quordle tips that really help

Open with common letters

A first word such as SLATE, CRANE or AROSE tests the most frequent letters and gives you clues on all four boards at once.

Use a second scouting word

Before you commit, try a second word made of five new letters. Two scouting guesses usually reveal most vowels and leave seven tries for the answers.

Finish the easiest board first

When one board is almost solved, close it. A solved board stops taking up your attention, and its letters often help on the others.

Read the split keyboard

A key with a green quarter in one corner and grey in the others tells you exactly where the letter belongs. Check the keyboard before every guess.

What is Quordle?

Quordle is a word puzzle based on Wordle. Instead of one hidden word you solve four at once, and every guess counts on all four boards. Wordle gives six tries for one word; Quordle gives nine tries for four words.

Is QuordleGame.org free?

Yes. You can play as many games as you want without registering. The daily puzzle and Unlimited mode are both free, and your progress and statistics are saved in your browser.

What is the difference between Daily and Unlimited?

Daily gives everyone the same four words for the day, and a new puzzle starts at midnight on your device. You can open earlier days from the archive calendar. Unlimited picks new random words every time you start a game.

Why is my word not accepted?

The game only accepts real words from its dictionary that have the same length as the hidden words. If you see "Not a valid word", check the spelling; "Too short" means some letters are missing.

Can I play with 4 or 6 letter words?

Yes. Five letters is the default, but you can switch the word length in the settings. In Unlimited mode even longer words are available. Your statistics are kept separately for each length.

Can I play Quordle in other languages?

Yes. QuordleGame.org has its own word lists and keyboards for 22 language versions, from Italian and Spanish to Ukrainian and Turkish. Use the globe button at the top or the list of languages at the bottom of the page.

How does the stopwatch work?

The stopwatch starts with your first guess and shows how long the game took in the results window. You can hide it by tapping the clock or turn it off completely in the settings.
