Quordle Marathon – rounds in a row, saved guesses carry over

Quordle Marathon is a chain of games. You start with nine guesses, and every guess you save is carried over to the next round. Lose one game and the marathon is over.

Rules of Quordle Marathon

After each win the next round gets the guesses you did not use plus 5, up to 13. Win in 6 and the next game has 8 rows; win in 9 and it has only 5. Your score is the number of games won in a row, and your best run is saved.

Tip for Quordle Marathon

Play safe in the first rounds: a fast win builds a cushion of extra rows that will save you later, when a tricky set of words comes up.

What happens when I lose a game?
The marathon ends and you see how many games you won in a row. The next game starts a new marathon with nine guesses.
Is my marathon saved if I close the page?
Yes. The current round and the whole run are stored in your browser, so you can come back later and continue.
What is the maximum number of guesses?
A round can have at most 13 guesses, no matter how many you saved before.
