Quordle Extreme – 8 guesses, rare words

Quordle Extreme is for players who find the classic game too easy. The answers come from the rarer part of the dictionary, and you have only 8 guesses for all four boards.

Rules of Quordle Extreme

The colors work as usual: green is the right letter in the right place, yellow is a letter that belongs elsewhere, gray is a letter that is not in the word. With only eight rows there is almost no room for scouting, so every guess should test new letters and solve something at the same time.

Tip for Quordle Extreme

Rare words often use letters like Y, K, V or double letters. If the common letters are used up and a board is still empty, think of less usual spellings.

Eight guesses leave space for very few exploring words, and the answers are words people rarely use, so they do not come to mind first.
