Quordle Sequence – boards unlock one by one

In Quordle Sequence you start with just one visible board. Solve it and the second board opens, then the third and the fourth. You have 10 guesses for the whole chain.

Rules of Quordle Sequence

Every guess is still written on all four boards, including the locked ones, but their colors stay hidden until the board opens. The keyboard shows only the boards you can see. Solve the words in order: board 1, then 2, 3 and 4.

Tip for Quordle Sequence

Choose your early guesses with the hidden boards in mind: varied letters now mean that a newly opened board already shows plenty of green and yellow.

Quordle Sequence: FAQ

Do my guesses count on the locked boards?
Yes. When a board unlocks, all your earlier guesses appear on it with their colors, so it can often be solved in one or two tries.
Why does Sequence have 10 guesses?
You plan with less information than in the classic game, so the mode gives you one extra guess to make up for it.
Is Quordle Sequence the same as the official Sequence?
The idea is similar, but this is our own version with its own puzzles. The official Merriam-Webster answers are on a separate page.
