Quordle Hard – every clue must be reused

Quordle Hard plays by hard-mode rules: no more throwaway words just to test letters. Each guess has to respect the clues of at least one unsolved board.

Rules of Quordle Hard

For the board you are working on, green letters must stay where they are and yellow letters must appear in the guess. If a word ignores the clues of every open board, it is rejected and the game tells you which letter is missing. You have nine guesses.

Tip for Quordle Hard

Pick a target board for each guess and build the word around its clues, but fill the free positions with letters you have not tried yet – that way the other boards still learn something.

Quordle Hard: FAQ

Do I have to follow the clues of all four boards?
No, that would rarely be possible. A guess is accepted when it fits all clues of at least one board that is not solved yet.
How is this page different from hard mode in the settings?
The rules are the same, but here hard mode is always on, the puzzles are different from the classic game, and the statistics are kept separately.
Is there a daily Hard puzzle?
Yes. You can play a shared daily Hard puzzle or as many Unlimited rounds as you like.
